From Matt Topper, Wordles of the twitter stream and the people tweeting re. Transparency Camp this weekend. Thanks, Justin Grimes, for letting know. tags: #tcamp09

If the administration had a web site where passionate people who don't agree with the president but voted for him anyway could voice their views and stump for their issue, could the mere act of hosting the space kindle a new era of trust in government, or would that community be a de facto opinion ghetto, kind of like the "Alternative Lifestyles" section in Blockbuster? Like a little sign saying "Look here for marginal views." To my mind it dimly but scarily resembles the Bush/Cheney whitehouse.gov circa 2004, where the Feedback section dumped anyone with criticism into an undifferentiated form-driven general email box. tags: #tcamp09

At Sunlight's Transparency Camp ... Kevin Merritt at blist telling how their list/spreadsheet widget can make more data more exposed in a more digestible and standardized way. Obama/Biden using it to distribute donor data: Later wanting to check out JC Herz and Valdis Krebs on visualizations that make the connections between banks, or, say oil companies and governments, more knowable. tags: #tcamp09
