Paul Begala is being extremely funny today taking on a new anti-Kerry ad from Bush/Cheney. The ad shows scary Wolves of Terror circling in the Forest of Life, waiting to pounce when John Kerry and weakling liberals let the Fires of Security burn low. (You know what? This sentence is better than the ad is.) Begala is being hysterical, shouting "They're puppies! The Puppies are coming! The Puppies are coming" flapping his arms like Steve Martin in "The Jerk." "What's next," Begala asked, "goats??", referring to the story My Pet Goat that W was reading when he got the news of the 9/11 attacks.

Dan Rather, CBS News Anchor1. given documents he thought were true 2. failed to thoroughly investigate the facts 3. reported documents to the American people as true to make his case 4. when confronted with the facts, apologized and launched an investigation 5. number of Americans dead: 0 6. should be fired as CBS News Anchor George W. Bush, President of the United States1. given documents he thought were true 2. failed to thoroughly investigate the facts 3. reported documents to the American people as true to make his case 4. when confronted with the facts, continued to…
