The ad shows scary Wolves of Terror circling in the Forest of Life, waiting to pounce when John Kerry and weakling liberals let the Fires of Security burn low. (You know what? This sentence is better than the ad is.)
Begala is being hysterical, shouting “They’re puppies! The Puppies are coming! The Puppies are coming” flapping his arms like Steve Martin in “The Jerk.” “What’s next,” Begala asked, “goats??”, referring to the story My Pet Goat that W was reading when he got the news of the 9/11 attacks.
